For those attending the BHW Show of the Year this weekend, please be aware of the Covid requirements for entering the Winter Gardens at Blackpool:

• All guests to be encouraged to sanitise their hands on arrival at the venue.
• Face coverings must be worn at all times around the venue, except if you’re an auctioneer.
• All key event personnel will be required to wear masks while moving around the venue.
• All guests to be instructed to wear face coverings while moving around the venue, unless they have a medical exemption. Settings which are exempt from wearing a face covering within the Winter Gardens while seated include restaurants, cafés and canteens bars.
• All guests aged 18 years or over will by law need to show proof of
  – being fully vaccinated (currently a full course of vaccination without the need for a booster), OR
  – a negative PCR or lateral flow test in the previous 48 hours, OR
  – that they have an exemption.
• This means that those aged 18 years or over must show their NHS Covid Pass, or an alternative proof of a negative test result (such as an email or text), to gain entry into the venue. You do not need both – one or the other will suffice.
• A one way system will be in force.

Please note that the evidence of a negative lateral flow or PCR test includes an official email or text. Other evidence will not be accepted.

These are not rules invented by the Show of the Year Committee, but requirements of the venue based on Government rules.

The Gala Evening

The Gala evening will take place at the Viva Rooms on Saturday evening. Due to the number of guests and the nature of the venue we have been informed by the venue that face masks and NHS covid passes/negative PCR tests will not be required
